What are Colloids?

Colloids are sub-microscopic particles called “micelles”. These particles are electrically charged and repel each other in a ceaseless movement. Colloids in liquid solution measure 0,000.000.01 centimetres and cannot be seen with the most powerful microscope however, they reflect light rays that can be detected by complex electron microscope.

How do Colloids work as cleaning agents?
